Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Landspace Consultants Limited ("the Firm", "we") processes personal data in the course of providing valuation, property management, estate agency and advisory services. It is issued in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Laws of Kenya) and applies to clients, instructing parties, property occupiers, contractors and website visitors.

Identity and contact data: name, national identification or passport number, KRA PIN, postal and physical address, telephone number and email address.

Instruction data: property address, title particulars, tenancy schedules, purchase and construction costs, and the purpose of valuation.

Financial data: bank or lender references where a valuation is instructed for security purposes, and fee settlement records.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected only in aggregate for site performance.

We process personal data to perform a contract of engagement, to comply with statutory duties under the Valuers Act (Cap 532) and the Estate Agents Act (Cap 533), to meet anti-money-laundering and know-your-client obligations, and for the legitimate interest of maintaining professional records and defending professional indemnity claims.

Indicative estimates generated by the online calculator are computed in your browser session. Figures are not valuations and are not retained unless you submit an instruction enquiry.

Personal data is disclosed only to the instructing party and its named lender or advocate, to regulators and courts where legally compelled, to our professional indemnity insurer where a claim arises, and to sub-consultants engaged on the assignment under equivalent confidentiality terms. We do not sell or trade personal data.

Valuation reports, working papers and the associated correspondence are retained for a minimum of six years from the date of report issue, consistent with professional indemnity and limitation requirements. Records are thereafter securely destroyed unless a longer statutory period applies.

Files are held on access-controlled systems with role-based permissions. Physical files are stored at the head office under lock and key. Site inspection photographs and field data are transferred to secure storage on return from inspection.

You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate records, deletion where retention is no longer required, and restriction of processing. Requests should be addressed in writing to the Firm and will be acknowledged within seven working days and answered within thirty days.
